A day on the waters of the Virgin Islands aboard Asante will be the best day of your vacation. We start the day with a humorous yet informative safety talk from Captain Teddy, a beautiful fruit plate and a round of Hillary's famous rum punch. And, as we motor out of the harbor and raise the sails, conversation about St. John of past and present, the waters surrounding her, sailing, off shore adventures and day to day life will pass the time as we island hop for snorkel stops and underwater adventures!
On board, you will experiences amazing snacks, drinks, comfortable bean bags on the bow, a front row seat for the views of the USVI and five star service. When we stop, you can relax in our hammock chairs, float about, snorkel, paddle board or simply relax on the boat while your loved ones enjoy the sea.

A perfect day sailing and snorkeling in the USVI

11 days in St. John and this was by far the best day of our entire trip! We wanted a full day sailing trip with just us (me and my husband) and not a boatload of strangers so did the 2-person option with Sailing Asante. We were greeted by Capt Teddy and Hillary who made us feel welcome and relaxed. A fruit plate was set out and we were off sailing. Safety is clearly a priority! Plenty of room to spread out and a canopy to keep us out of the sun when we weren't up front on the bean bag chairs. We stopped at amazing snorkel spots and Hillary swam with us pointing out stuff to see and names of fish. The water was so clear and the marine life abundant. Hillary's Painkillers (rum drink) were amazing!! We sailed back to St. John watching the sunset off the stern of the boat with a charcuterie plate and wine. Where did the day go? A perfect boat for 2-6 people. Will definitely join them again when we are back in St. John!

We had a fantastic day sailing on Asante with Captain Teddy and Hillary. It's a solid boat that feels great to be on, with super comfy beanbag seats up front. We got a tour of several beautiful spots around St. John, and got to snorkel at each one. This was the best snorkeling experience of our eight day drip to St. John. They sailed us to places you can't reach except by boat, including the pizza boat Pi anchored in Christmas Cove, our lunch spot. Teddy and Hillary taught us a lot about the islands, served delicious food and drinks, (don't miss Hillary's Rum Punch!) and were kind and patient enough to give me a lesson on their stand-up paddle board. I was sad when the day ended and hope to do this again next time we're in St. John.

After rescheduling our trip to St. John three times, this all day sailing trip was perfect. Teddy and Hillary were amazing! The snorkeling stops had beautiful reefs and we got to see a pretty big nurse shark at Lovango. Pizza Pi was delicious (also GF pizza!!!) and sailing with Teddy and Hillary felt like being with old friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this trip!

Captain Teddy and Hillary were great. We did a half day sail and wished we had done a full day. Hillary's Painkillers were the best on St John! We can't wait for our next trip!!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Teddy and Hillary. I have been dying to go out on Asante since Covid came. It just never seemed to work out.But finally we were able to celebrate a birthday.We all commented what a great sail.A fantastic voyage. Both the captain and the mate are very knowledgeable of the beautiful waters that surround St. John. Six of us went on a full day sunset sail with two fantastic snorkeling spots. After snorkeling the captain went and picked up pizzas for us and we had a lunch on the water and then a third snorkel. The drinks were cold and the sun was hot we had a fantastic day on Asante

Teddy and Hillary were AMAZING! We did a full day sail and they took us to fabulous snorkeling locations. They were super kind, friendly, had wonderful food and drinks prepared, provided all snorkeling equipment and gave GREAT instructions.
They even arranged pizza in the water from Pizza Pi.

What a fun day on the water!!! Capt Teddy and Hillary were the best hosts ( oh and don't forget chewy- the boat dog). They paired us with another group for the full day charter. We went to several great snorkel spots and made a stop at pizza pi for pizza for lunch. I enjoyed the pizza in the lovely hammock swinging over the water with cocktail. The day was just lovely. Cant wait to book next trip!!

Sailing with Captain Teddy and Hillary was the best! We have done a lot of St. John sailing and this is the best, by far. Felt like our private boat with all the personal and professional help and attention. Captain Teddy and Hillary accompanied me snorkeling acting as my guide, pointing out the highlights of each snorkeling location too I didn't miss a thing. Best way to see the sea! "Asante" to you both!
